Love to Cake won double gold for both cakes entered into the Novelty sculpted cake section at the Cake Show 2009.

Controversy sparked when cakes that were not ‘smooth’ and covered in fondant won gold. The cakes were described as a ‘breath of fresh air’ by the chefs, something new in a fondant world.
